FAQ

Events have been broken out by industry areas: Marketing, Management & Entrepreneurship, Hospitality, and Finance. When you sign up for an event you will pick what experiential roleplay you would like to do. The business you pick will be the name of the event you are in.

Every event may be done with individually or with a partner. If you decide to do it with a partner your test scores will be averaged. When signing up, instead of having both partners fill out the form, just have one partner fill it out for both of you.

For these roleplays, the scenario will be emailed the night before. An event coordinator will help you and the other participants find the business location before your event. You will have a 10 minute time slot to present your ideas to the business owner/manager at the business location. You may bring prepared notes on 8X11 paper or notecards. Must be only in 1 color and handwritten / drawn.

The 50-question cluster exam will be emailed to advisors 1-week before the event. The test must be completed by Friday, September 29 at 6 pm.

The top two competitors for each event will be announced at closing ceremony.

The dress code will be business casual. With walking required we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Collared shirt or casual button-down /Collared or noncollared blouse Casual slacks like khakis or chinos / Dress or skirt (at or below the knee) Comfortable walking shoes Modest jewelry & Accessories, such as printed scarves (optional) Sport coat or casual blazer (optional) Tie (optional)
